Dan Cullinane is on a path to retain his seat in the Massachusetts House. Mr. Cullinane represents Precinct 1 and 2 here in Milton where he won handily (Dorchester Reporter article here). There were no Republican primary candidates for the seat.
Martha Coakley topped the Democratic ticket but Grossman was Milton’s Democratic choice with 1635 votes to Coakley’s 1484. Baker easily defeated Fisher on the Republican ticket. (Boston Globe election coverage here.)
Maura Healy beat Warren Tolman for Attorney General. She will face Republican John Miller in the general election to the be the next state Attorney General.
Milton’s Bob Jubinville also sailed to victory in the race against Bart Timilty of West Roxbury. (Wicked Sharon article here.) There was no Republican race.
The turnout here in Milton was 25% (4634 out of 18510 registered voters). Of the precincts, Precinct 9 had highest turn out – 29%, Precinct 10 had the lowest – 19%.
