On Wednesday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m., the Planning Board and the Board of Selectmen will hold a public meeting at the Council on Aging, 10 Walnut Street. The sole topic will be the Housing Production Plan (relating to affordable housing) that the Town’s outside consultant, Karen Sunnaborg, has drafted.At the meeting, Ms. Sunnaborg and Bill Clark will discuss the HPP. Time will be set aside for questions and answers from members of the public and both boards. Members of the Milton Housing Authority and the recently-appointed trustees of the new affordable housing trust, among others, have been invited to attend and participate. The Board of Selectmen and Planning Board welcome and encourage participation by the public.
Copies of the HPP are available at the Milton Public Library and in the Selectmen’s office. A copy will also be posted on the Town’s website.
