Senator Brian A. Joyce is encouraging Milton residents to take advantage of the 30 day comment period on the draft project listings for the Fiscal Years 2015-2018 State Transportation Improvement Program. The draft project list contains $725,000 for a “safe routes to school” project in Milton in FY16.

“Community members are better aware of the potential challenges facing a construction project then state agencies,” said Joyce. “That is why these comment periods are so important. They can give state agencies unequaled insight to make the process smoother for everyone involved.”

The deadline to submit comments is September 7, 2014.
