Following our worship service on Pentecost Sunday, June 8, Moderator Vicki Nelson convened a special all-church meeting for the purpose of voting on the Search Committee’s recommendation to call Rev. Michele Davis as East Church’s next Settled Pastor. The vote was swift and unanimous.

Welcome, Shelly! Although her full time ministry with us will begin in mid-August, she is developing two special days of planning and visioning: one later this month and another in July. We’ll provide details as they are available. It was an amazing morning, filled with warmth and welcome and optimism at East Church.
