The Sisterhood of Cong. Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills will sponsor “A Night of Comedy”, featuring Newton native Jon Fisch, on Sunday, June 1, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

A prolific monologist with universal appeal, Fisch focuses on the idiosyncrasies of city living. He has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, VH1, and numerous comedy clubs. He has been featured on Celebrity Apprentice and in Maxim Magazine, and has opened for Jerry Seinfeld. The public is invited to this “fun-raiser” which includes a catered cocktail hour with complimentary beer and wine from 6-7 p.m., an opening act followed by Jon Fisch from 7-8 p.m., and dessert with coffee and tea from 8-9 p.m. It will be held at 1372 Brush Hill Road, Milton, in the Fuller Village Function Hall, and tickets are $50.00 per person. Guests are invited to reserve tables with their friends or colleagues, and all reservations are requested by May 14.
