Letter from John Folcarelli
I am writing to thank the voters of Milton for electing me to the position of Trustee of the Milton Public Library. I am both humbled and delighted to have been elected to this position and I look forward to joining the other Trustees in the governance of the Library. Despite the many challenges the Town faces, I am optimistic about the future of the Library and its critical contribution to the intellectual and cultural life of Milton.
I want to thank my wife Pat for all her support and hard work. Also, I could not have succeeded without the indefatigable and unrelenting efforts of Joseph Patrick O’Malley and Gene Boylan. Their love of Milton and their willingness to work ceaselessly for the good of the Town was inspiring to witness first-hand.
I also want to thank my sisters-in-law Lori and Connie Henry and my brothers-in-law Marty and John Henry and the countless others who displayed the lawn signs that Joseph Patrick O’Malley made ubiquitous, those who wrote Dear Friend cards and emails, and those who held signs, most especially my still frozen daughters Francesca and Anna and my son Jack, and finally my daughter Meg for casting an absentee ballot before returning to Abu Dhabi.
Again, I thank the voters for placing their confidence in me and I look forward to serving them and the Town of Milton as Trustee of the Milton Public Library for the next three years.
John W. Folcarelli
