Dr. Hylander to speak on Eleanor Roosevelt at Annual Dinner of Historical Society

Dr. Gary Hylander, Professor of History at Stonehill College brings his enthusiastic, interactive approach to history with an engaging presentation on Eleanor Roosevelt at the Milton Historical Society’s annual dinner which is being held Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the Neighborhood Club of Quincy, 27 Glendale Road, Quincy.

Once a shy and awkward child, Eleanor found her voice and confidence in the politics of the New Deal. Diplomat, social activist and political visionary, she forever changed the role of First Lady. Please join us for a wonderful evening.

Social Hour starts at 6 PM with dinner at 7 PM to be followed by the program.
Reservations required. Menu choices: Baked Stuffed Chicken in a beurre blanc sauce or Baked Scrod with sherry-buttered bread crumbs.

Cost for Milton Historical Society member is $40.00; non-member is $45.00
