Emily &Maddie Hutchinson and their rescue dog

I doubt when I turned 11 I would want to turn my birthday presents over to someone else but Emily Hutchinson did . She asked guests at her 11th birthday party to bring donations for the Milton Animal Shelter rather than gifts for her.

She collected $120 in checks and gift cards plus several baskets of toys and treats for the dogs and cats at the shelter.  Nice.
