Driver charged with killing woman held on bail

A judge Monday ordered Eric D. Lum, 29, of Randolph, held on $100,00 bail after Lum pleaded innocent to driving high on heroin and killing a Milton woman.

Father apologizes for son’s role in fatal Milton crash

Ronald Lum apologized today on behalf of his son, who is accused of stealing the family car, using heroin, and killing a 25-year-old woman in a head-on crash early Sunday in Milton.

His son, Eric Lum, had struggled with a heroin addiction for seven or eight years, but had seemed to be recovering, Ronald Lum said, describing him as hardworking man from Randolph.
