Paul Nangeroni and Luis Leguia in concert today at Fuller Village

The Friends of Beth Isreal Deaconess Hospital Milton and the Milton Rotary Club are pleased to host an afternoon featuring Violinist Paul Nangeroni and cellist Luis Leguia at 2:00pm in the Function Room at Brush Hill. $5 per person if you sign up by Monday February 24th at 4:00pm by calling 617-361-7778. Signups after Feb 24th are $10.

Paul Nangeroni studied with teacher Guido Antonelli. Paul began performing as a child in Milton and the surrounding communities accompanied on piano by his mother Mary. As a high school member of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, Paul was accepted for private study with world renowned Russian violinist Raphael Bronstein at Boston University and Hartt College of Music in Connecticut as an undergraduate. He was concert Master of the Army Chamber Orchestra at the Reagan-Gorbachev summit in Moscow. Luis Leguia grew up in Los California and trained at the Ecole Normale in Paris and the Juillard School. His teachers included Arthur van den Bogaerde, Kurt Reher, Andre Navarra, Leonard Rose and Pablo Casals. He joined the BSO in 1963. Mr. Leguia’s interest in Spanish, Latin American and South American music, combined with is new carbon fiber cello, culminated in his first recording, Classical Music for Cello and Piano by Composers from South America, Mexico and the Caribbean recorded with the Luis and Clark cello.
