Club & Activity Announcements for Milton High School

Mon, 2/3

  • Reminder regarding this week’s schedule: Block A will be held on Tuesday; there is an early dismissal day on Wednesday; and Block B will be held on Thursday.

Tue, 2/4

  • Today is Block A.  Group guidance 11B will meet during advisory.

  • There will be a Students Against Destructive Decisions meeting after school today in Ms. Clapp’s room (127).

Wed, 2/5

  • Today is an early release day for students.  We will run periods A, A, B, and C.  Dismissal will be at 11:16 a.m.

  • For students with school bus passes, there will be two school buses which will follow an abbreviated bus route available directly after school.

  • Club and Activity photos and the Senior class photo will take place this morning beginning at 8 a.m. in the field house.  Groups will be called down on the PA system.

Thu, 2/6

  • Today is Block B.  Group guidance 11C will meet during advisory.

  • There will be a meeting for the Girls’ Tennis Team on Thursday, February 6, immediately after school in the field house.  The current team and any other girl interested in trying out for the 2014 tennis team will be welcomed.

  • The Poetry Club will meet Thursday this week instead of Friday in room 211.  All members should attend to help plan our Valentine’s Day fundraiser.

  • There will be a Spanish Club meeting on Thursday February 6 at 2:30 in room 312.  All are welcome.

Fri, 2/7

  • There are no meeting announcements for today.

  • There are no additional announcements for this section.

Attention: Important Yearbook Information

  • ATTENTION SENIORS: if you want to submit any candid photos for the 2014 yearbook, please join the facebook group “MHS Candids 2014”, upload all photos to that page and the yearbook staff will get your pictures in this years yearbook. (All photos will be screened by the administration!!!)

  • Pre-order your YEARBOOK and have your name engraved on the cover!  Go to www.yearbookforever.com and follow the MHS prompts.  You have until March 15th to pre-order. Don’t wait until June!

Employment Opportunities

  • Snow Removal: Winter Valley is currently looking to compile a list of students – preferably those who can start a car – who would like to help the elderly by cleaning off their cars when it snows.  Please contact Winter Valley at (617) 898-2030 and submit your name if you would to be contacted (by email or phone) when help is needed.  Students will only be needed outside of school hours.  The going rate is $10 – $15 per car, depending on how much snow and if the snow is heavy or icy.
