Milton native Alex Hassan was drafted in the 20th round this summer by the Boston Red Sox. The Duke right-hander is in his second summer with Orleans.

Duke’s Alex Hassan wears many different hats. He’s a right-handed pitcher. But he also plays outfield sometimes. And oh yeah – he can also be an explosive designated hitter. There’s more to the Boston Red Sox 20th-round draft pick than just baseball, too. He’s also a movie critic, quick to give reviews of this summer’s blockbusters.
