Brian Cherry, a US Marine Corps veteran and father of four Milton Public School students, attended the Veterans’ Day ceremonies at Cunningham School on Thursday. His son, Christopher Cherry borrowed part of his father’s dress uniform for the occasion.
Last week MIlton elementary students saluted our nation’s veterans. An especially poignant event took place at Cunningham School where veterans congregated, military personnel raised the flag, and students read letters of thanks. Today’s Milton observance is at 10:30 with a short parade from MHS to Town Hall.
