Yesterday was a good day. Folks flocked to Brooks field to remember, celebrate, and contribute to a scholarship in the name of Evan Jones. The sky was grey but the day was bright.

There were a number of activities but at the outset it was Coach Mac that was getting the lion’s share of attention. With an endless patter of trash talk that functioned as a cash register as he cajoled, prodded, and encouraged folks to make an attempt to drop him in the drink. He was first up at the Dunk Tank. And he appeared to relish as did all the many, many volunteers who worked the day for a wonderful cause.
