“Piano Celebration” at the Milton Public Library

The Milton Public Library will host local musicians in a free concert called “Piano Celebration” on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2 PM. Since the library recently acquired a lovely Sohmer piano made possible by the Milton Library Foundation, several wonderful local performers will gather to help christen the new addition. The concert, directed by Emma Jean Moulton, includes Judy Cobble (piano), Scott Woolweaver (viola), Lynn Salmonsen (piano), Brandon Grimes (baritone), Gingie Grimes (piano), Jennie Mulqueen (soprano), Anita Ashur Wakim (soprano), Jeffrey Ashur (clarinet), George Asher (piano), Jeff Stoodt (baritone), Miguel Angel Rodriguez (tenor), and Brother Dennis Slaughter (piano).

This program is appropriate for all ages and light refreshments will be served. The library is located at 476 Canton Avenue, Milton, and the Keys Community Room is on the lower level. The concert is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library, and for more information, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757.
