The Milton Public Library’s teen book club has selected Partials by Dan Wells as its August pick. A post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller in the tradition of The Hunger Games, Partials follows16-year-old medic Kira and her friends on a quest to catch a Partial – the genetically engineered life form that caused the RM epidemic that killed most of humanity. Kira hopes that a Partial might have the cure for RM, but when she does manage to catch one, she gets much more than she bargained for. School Library Journal praised its” fast-paced action and surprising plot twists.” Join the book club at 7 p.m. on August 5 for discussion and snacks!
