Trailside Museum and MECA host Story Walk

We are excited to, once again, bring the StoryWalk® Project to Milton from 7/28 – 8/4! Come enjoy this week-long, outdoor, rain or shine, free event. Visit the Trailside Museum and enjoy a story posted along the way as you walk around their grounds. This is a terrific opportunity to enjoy a wonderful children’s book while taking a healthy walk. Stop at each post and read the page with your child. If your child is able, have them read the page to you. This Story Walk can easily be appreciated by children both young and old. While you’re there, visit the Trailside Museum’s exhibits, have a picnic, or take a hike in the Blue Hills.

Don’t forget to let us know you enjoyed the book by signing our guest register after reading the last page of the story! And, if you take a picture, please email it to us at cpcmecasld@verizon.net. Maybe we’ll use it in future advertising!

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
