Sean Walsh, Human Resource Specialist for the Milton Public Schools, is leaving to become the Director of Personnel in the Winchester School System. Superintendent Gormley made the announcement in a letter to parents, guardians, and staff yesterday. Walsh started his career in the Milton Central office in 2002 after earning his MA in Education from Bridgewater State University.

Mr. Walsh performed a variety of duties during the course of his time in Milton. In addition to being responsible for all human resource and hiring procedures and practices, he was the district’s webmaster, managed state reporting requirements, and overseen the school’s registration and assignment process, practices and procedures.

In her letter to the community Ms. Gormley writes, “I am proud and thrilled for Sean. Sean has the skill set, education, experience, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required to excel in this wonderful central office opportunity.  .  . I am sure that you join me in thanking Sean Walsh for his eleven years of talented service to the Milton Public Schools and wish him well as he begins this new chapter of his career in the Winchester Public Schools.”
