Milton Library Screens The Perks of Being a Wallflower

On Tuesday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m., the Teen Services Department of the Milton Library will show The Perks of Being A Wallflower, a 2012 film based on the young adult novel of the same name. Perks follows shy Charlie through his freshman year of high school as he’s adopted by two seniors who introduce him to a new social scene and a whole new life outside of the school’s halls. The movie is rated PG-13; the program is for students entering grades 6-12 only. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Milton Public Library.
