Dear Milton Public School Parents/Guardians and Staff,

I am writing to inform you that on Monday evening, June 3, 2013 the Milton Public School system was informed that a Milton High School employee allegedly engaged in unlawful conduct with a female student. Upon learning of this allegation, the Milton Public School system immediately put the employee on paid administrative leave and we have been cooperating fully with the Milton Police Department regarding this matter, in conjunction with the alleged victim and her family. This afternoon, the employee, Dale Snyder, was arrested by the Milton Police Department and charged with Indecent Assault and Battery on a child over 14, and two counts of Assault and Battery.

The Milton Public School system takes any allegations which suggest a threat to the safety and integrity of our students extremely seriously. We therefore ask each parent/guardian to have a very frank and open discussion with their children. If anyone has any additional information regarding this investigation, please contact Milton Police Lt. Detective William West at 617-898-4804 or via email, wwest@mpdmilton.org.
