Illustrated Talk – The Museum of American Bird Art

On Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 7 PM, Amy T. Montague, Director of The Museum of American Bird Art, will present an illustrated talk of its collection of artworks inspired by birds. The event will be held in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Library, 476 Canton Avenue in Milton.

Screen Shot 2013-06-02 at 9.14.53 AMThe Museum of American Bird Art in Canton is the only museum in the country with a continuing commitment to collect, exhibit and interpret the highest quality artworks inspired by birds. From John James Audubon to Andy Warhol, the story of American bird art includes drama, larger-than-life personalities and some surprises. In this richly illustrated talk, Montague will introduce the museum and the stories behind Mass Audubon’s extraordinary collection of three centuries of bird art.
