Student Government: Attention all students running for a student government office for the 2013-2014 school year: There will be a very brief, mandatory meeting TODAY after school in Room 121 for all candidates. You must turn in a copy of your speech to Mr. Kelly or Mrs. Tom before the meeting.
MCAS Science: All students enrolled in Biology will take the MCAS Biology exam TOMORROW and Wednesday, June 4 and 5. Orange flyers will be posted around the building listing student room assignments. Please check for your name and room number at the end of the day today.
Outdoors Club: Outdoors Club will be having a meeting TOMORROW right after school in Room 124. It is important that members attend to discuss events for next year.
Amnesty Human Rights Club: We are hosting a Summer Clothing drive for the Eritrea Community Center. Please donate adult summer clothes to room 105 all this week..

Volunteers are needed at Winter Valley this summer. You can set your hours anytime from Monday – Friday, 10 – 4pm. The hours are flexible: do what works best for your schedule. Some of the volunteer duties include: Set up and play at our weekly Wed. Bingo game, copy flyers and help distribute them to our residents on Fridays. Help out in our community garden. Play chess, cards and other board games. Play Wii games with elders. Go on a walk with an elder. Help with small chores such as turning mattresses, rearranging furniture, computer assistance, etc…Also, if you have a special talent such as playing an instrument (we have several pianos) or something else you’d like to share with us (juggling, dancing, cooking, crafts, etc…) please contact Liz O’Rourke, the Activities Coordinator at 617-898-2030 or email to lorourke@mreinc.org Please leave your name, phone and email address if you have one.

STUDENT TROOPER PROGRAM – This summer, the American Legion will once again sponsor the Student Trooper Program, an intensive one week residential learning experience for young adults ages 15-17. The program which is mentally and physically demanding is held at the MA State Police Academy in New Braintree. Interested male or female students may pick up a copy of the application in Guidance.
