The Blue Hills Cycling Club kicked off bike month in style with their big annual event on Sunday! 249 cyclists participated in four categories, racing around a seven-mile circuit in the Blue Hills Reservation. Prizes were awarded to top finishers in each category, as well as to KOMs (kings of the mountain, or winners of the uphill climbs). The race was organized by the Blue Hills Cycling Club and another local team, 545 Velo, and proceeds benefit the Conservation Trust and the Milton Parks & Recreation Department. Many thanks to the Milton and Canton Police Departments, the Department of Conservation and Recreation, SRAM neutral support, and local volunteers from the BHCC and 545 Velo for all their hard work to make this event such a success! Race results can be found here:
