In what we hope will become a new tradition in Milton, Town Clerk Sue Galvin hosted a celebratory swearing in of the candidates recently elected to town wide office. The event was held on the Gazebo at Town Hall. Ms. Galvin, accompanied by Town Administrator  Annmarie Fagan, welcomed them up and gave them the oath of office. Residents and families of the candidates were on hand to welcome them to town hall, cake was served and the sun shone brightly.

It was a warm gesture on the part of the Clerk and one couldn’t help but note the refreshing gender balance that now exists in town hall with two women, Ms. Galvin and Ms. Fagan, as senior officials hosting the ceremony.
