After 11 years, a Quincy quarry has claimed another victim. Patrick Coughlin, 21, of Milton, apparently drowned in one of the long-abandoned quarries near the Granite Links Golf Course off Ricciuti Drive in the predawn hours today. He’d reportedly been swimming there with friends. Coughlin was a sophomore at University of Massachusetts-Boston and a Marine veteran who served in Afghanistan. (Read full story here.)
