Civil War Circle to discuss Confederate President Jefferson Davis

The Forbes House Museum Civil War Circle (CWC) will meet for its monthly round table discussion on Tuesday, 26 March at 7pm at Forbes House Museum, Milton. The topic will be Confederate President Jefferson Davis. New comers are welcome; attendees are encouraged to research the topic and join the lively discussion.

Admission is $5 per person. The CWC is a member benefit at Forbes House Museum; sign up for a Family level membership and receive free admission to CWC sessions.

About the March Topic:

Confederate President Jefferson Davis was known as a somewhat difficult leader to work with as he tended to micro-manage his armies which earned him the anger of some of his Generals. Participants are encouraged to research any aspect of the relationship that Davis developed with his Generals during the war. Focus on one general in particular or look at the larger picture.

CWC discussions are relatively informal and everyone is allowed to speak; participants can opt to simply observe as well.
