News release from Representative Walter Timilty

Representatives Walter F. Timilty (D – Milton) is pleased to announce that Milton will receive a S.A.F.E Grant in the amount of $5,225 for Fiscal Year 2013.

The S.A.F.E, or Student Awareness of Fire Education, program enables local fire departments to send fire fighters to local elementary school to educate our students on the fundamental premises of fire safety.

“I am pleased to announce this grant for Milton since educating our youth on fire safety is instrumental in the public safety of the commonwealth,” said Timilty. “The S.A.F.E. Program continues to educate and protect our school systems by providing the necessary knowledge on the key elements of fire safety to our young students in the 7th Norfolk District and across the Commonwealth.”
