Notice from the Milton Police Department

Attention Residents: For the past week we have been experiencing a series of housebreaks or attempts to break in to homes. These incidents have occurred on Hutchinson Street, Spruce Street, Herrick Drive, Brook Road and Maple Street. The possibility of them being linked is strong. They all appear to happen between noontime and sunset. Two of the homes were unlocked and three were entered through a rear or side entry. It is possible that an older two door Toyota sedan may be the vehicle in question. A witness saw this car on Spruce Street on 1/2 but did not call the police. PLEASE lock your homes at all times and be attentive to anyone in your neighborhood either on foot or in a car that is unfamiliar to you. ALWAYS call 911 if you suspect a suspicious person or possible crime taking place. Thank you.
