I would also like to report that our Assistant Superintendent for Business, Matthew Gillis, has accepted a new position in the Hull Public Schools and will be leaving Milton in February.

We are very appreciative of Mr. Gillis’ work in developing the Milton Public Schools budgets over the past three years. He has also been instrumental on developing our Solar Panel project, along with other cost-saving initiatives for our schools. He has worked closely with our Food Service, Transportation, Community Schools and Facilities Departments.

We wish Mr. Gillis all the best in his new position. An interim Assitant Superintendent for Business will be appointed and information on the search/screening process will be coming soon.
