The Teen Services department of the Milton Public Library is forming a book club for readers ages 13-18. For its first book, the club has chosen Crash Into Me. This debut novel from author Albert Borris tells the story of Owen, Frank, Audrey, and Jin-Ae who meet online and share one common wish: to end their lives. As the four make a cross-country road trip toward Death Valley and the culmination of their suicide pact, the secrets that have lead them to their dark plan begin to surface and deep bonds are formed. Will their new-found friendships save the–or push them over the edge?
The teen book club meets at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14. To obtain a copy of the book or for more information, please contact Emily Calkins, Young Adult Librarian, at (617) 698-5757 or ecalkins@ocln.org. This program is for students ages 13-18 only. The Milton Library is located at 476 Canton Ave., Milton, MA.
