New art exhibits at MPL

During the month of December, two local artists will install their combined work in the Keys Community Room (lower level) of the Milton Public Library. Jamaal Eversley’s art consists of rich colorful paintings in pursuit of creating visual grammar that genuinely communicates breezy materialism. Nicole Pilgrim’s work presents impressionistic representations of the natural world and detailed explorations of the beautiful New England countryside.

These two styles combine to show how the artists have captured their ideas on life’s unique moments and so is called “Capturing the Bold Moments.” There will be a reception for this exhibit in the Keys room on Saturday, December 15th from 2-4 PM (snow date: Saturday, 12/22) and it is free and open to the public. For more information go to www.miltonlibrary.org or contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757.

For previews of the artists’ work visit npilgrim.carbonmade.com and jamonit.carbonmade.com. The Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue and this work will be on display from December 10th through January 20th.
