Come explore all things owl at Trailside Museum’s Owl Eve. This family event features a candlelit stroll outside around the museum’s grounds to see humorous owl-themed skits performed by the Not-Quite-Nocturnal Players. Inside the museum’s exhibit hall, you’ll be able to get incredibly close to several real owls. Touchable natural history artifacts will help you safely investigate the velvety softness of an owl’s wing as well as the deadly sharpness of their talons. Museum director Norman Smith will be on hand to share some of the discoveries about these fascinating birds he and his family have made over the past twenty years.
