School is back in session this morning. The roads are clear. And while showers are in the forecast – it looks like the worst is over. Town officials should be commended for doing a superb job of preparing for the worst, coordinating efforts among departments, and keeping the public informed. Residents were advised to stay off the roads and they did.
It’s easy to arm chair quarterback these efforts. And the less responsibility one has for making the actual decision, the easier it is to criticize.
Right now I can see a patch of blue outside the window. We were lucky and we should be grateful. Thank you MPD, MPS, DPW, Town Hall et al.
