Fight Hunger with the Hunger Games

Help the Milton Public Library fight hunger in Milton! On Tuesday, Nov. 14, the library’s Teen Services department will host a screening of The Hunger Games for students in grades 6 – 12. Teens are encouraged to bring canned food or dry goods; the food collected at the event will be donated to the Milton Community Food Pantry to provide food assistance to Milton families. Nov. 14 is a half-day at Milton Public Schools and the movie will begin at noon. The library will provide pizza and drinks for attendees.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for the food pantry, but admission is free and all students in grades 6 – 12 are welcome! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library. The Library is located at 476 Canton Ave., Milton, MA. For more information about this and other teen programs, please contact Emily Calkins, Young Adult Librarian, at (617) 698-5757 or ecalkins@ocln.org
