The Milton Public Library is starting a Teen Advisory Group (TAG) and Milton teens are invited to join! The TAG will meet monthly to promote teen leadership and involvement in the library. To be a TAG member, you must be between the ages of 13 -18 and be willing to work creatively in a team to improve teen services at the Milton Public Library. TAG members will:
- plan and promote library programs for teens
- assist with the selection of video games, books, and more for the library’s teen collection
- give back to the Milton Library and the Milton community
What are the benefits of joining the TAG?
- earn community service hours
- looks great on resumes and college applications
- meet and hang out with other-library loving teens
- help make the library a better place for you and other teens
The first meeting of the Milton Public Library Teen Advisory Group will be on Monday, September 24, from 7-8 p.m. in the library’s conference room. The Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue, Milton. For more information, please contact Emily Calkins, Young Adult Librarian, at (617) 698-4958 or ecalkins@ocln.org.
