  • Attention former soccer, rugby, or other ‘futbol’ athletes: Think about joining the football team as a kicker or punter. See Coach Bowes in room 224.
  • Asian Culture Club members attending Anime Boston MUST attend a meeting after school today in Mr. Young’s room to pick up permission slips.
  • All Night Party: Sunday, May 31 (graduation day) from 10:30 pm to 5:00 am. Tickets are on sale for $50 each at all the lunches. Every senior is invited – great food, music, fun activities, yearbook signing, comic/hypnotist show.
  • Current Sophomores and Juniors interested in applying to be a Student Leader should get an application in room 114, and submit it before May 22nd.
  • Film Club will have its last meeting after school today. All members must attend.
  • Community Service: 1. Pierce Middle School is looking for volunteers on Monday, May 18th to help set up an English Resource Library located behind the gym (directional signs will be posted). You may volunteer at any time between 2:30 and 8:30 pm. Please contact Mrs. Deluca at k.deluca@comcast.net. 2. Milton Hospital needs 20 volunteers on May 30th from 8 am to 4 pm. Please contact Ms. Samora at robinsamora@aol.com. Please sign up early as they need to plan ahead. 3. Pierce PTO needs students to volunteer on May 21st from 7 to 9 pm. Please contact Mrs. Russo at rkrwgg@mac.com.
  • Advanced Placement Exams: Students taking exams are reminded that they must bring a #2 pencil and a ballpoint pen, and that cell phones are NOT allowed in the testing room. Students to the testing location by 7:45. Students who arrive late to the Library will NOT be allowed to sit for the exam. NO EXCEPTIONS. Students taking AP Exams are expected to attend school the full day, and will only be excused from classes missed which take place during their exam.
  • Students who will be taking Advanced Placement classes in 2009-2010 must attend compulsory meeting(s) in their subject area(s) at 2:25 as follow:

  • Kiss a Senior Goodbye! Send a message and some Hershey kisses to your senior friends before they leave MHS! Kisses will cost $1 and will be sold at all three lunches this week. Messages will be delivered on Monday!
  • Senior Prom tickets will be on sale through today in Ms. Yifru’s room (116) before and after school for $55 per person, cash, checks payable to Milton High School.
  • Seniors: If you have Book Money Obligations, please see Mrs. Kelly in the main office with your checks as soon as possible. Also, for those of you who have Outstanding Library Obligations, you must see Mrs. Ronan at the Circulation Desk before school, Monday-Friday, or after school Monday-Thursday 2:19-2:40. Seniors also need to check out with Mrs. Morgan in food services on Friday in room 101.
  • Attention Seniors: Caps & Gowns are in! You can pay for your cap and gown in Ms. McDonough’s Room (118). The cost has gone up to $25.
  • Ring Orders are in. They can be picked up at lunch today.
  • There will be a MANDATORY Senior Assembly J period today. Seniors will go to their J period class where attendance will be taken and then seniors will be called down to the auditorium with their J period teachers.
  • Attention all students! Anyone interested in traveling to Europe next year? If the answer is yes, come to a brief meeting in room 229, K. Kelley’s room on Tuesday. The meeting is just to find out how many people are interested in a trip. If you can’t make the meeting stop by K. Kelley’s room to let her know you’re interested.
  • There will be a mandatory meeting for any Irish American Club members interested in running for office next Tuesday, May 19 in Ms. McDonough’s Room (118) immediately after school.
  • There is a mandatory M.H.S. Football Meeting on Wednesday, May 20th in the Auditorium immediately after school.
  • The Observer writers and artists – and all new members – will attend a meeting on Thursday, May 21 in Mr. Tart’s room.
