Visual artists and art collectors are invited to attend the first annual Paint Out & Wet Paint Sale at Forbes House Museum on Saturday, 23 June.

Beginning at 9am, artists from across New England will create landscape paintings on Milton Hill, including Governor Hutchinson’s Field, the Neponset River Marshes and Boston Harbor in the distance. Thirty artists are presently registered to participate in the day long event, including Sharon Allen, founder of the New Hampshire Plein Air Artists group and Dorchester’s own, Vincent Crotty.

From 4-5pm, artist will convene in the galleries of the Forbes House Museum for an exhibition and sale of their wet works of art. Art collectors and lovers of original artworks are invited to attend this special exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.

The first annual Paint Out & Wet Paint Sale is made possible through a collaboration between the Forbes House Museum and the New Hampshire Plein Air Artists group. The event is open to all artists; any/all painting mediums are welcome.

Registration fee is $10 for non-members; $5 for members of NH Plein Air Artists and Forbes House Museum.
