Representative Walter F. Timilty (D–7th Norfolk District) is pleased to announce the adoption of an amendment that he filed that sought funding for an initiative in Milton in the Fiscal Year 2013 budget.
Through their intensive efforts, Representative Timilty and Representative Linda Dorcena Forry have obtained $50,000 for the Milton Police Department, earmarked for directed patrols throughout the town. Thereby providing the Milton Police Department with additional resources to augment its’ presence on the streets of Milton.
Commenting on the on the public safety initiative that he successfully launched in the House of Representatives’ budget process on behalf on the Town of Milton, Timilty stated, “Through consistent hard work on Milton’s behalf, we have been able to obtain funding for the public safety initiative which will positively affect the everyday lives of Milton citizens.”
