This event got lost with all the political hurly burly of the last week; but the Tucker School had a special day not long ago. They celebrated opening day at Fenway and got a visit from Representative Dorcena Forry. Oh boy – and guess who else showed up? Congressman Capuano! He just can’t stay away. Here some pics of the day.

Ms Forry took a tour of the school with Principal Uretsky and Superintendent Gormley. She concluded by addressing Ms. Kelly’s 3rd grade class (the same Ms. Kelly who recently ran the marathon). In her remarks Ms. Forry quized the students. She recounted how she went door to door to introduce herself to the voters. One question: “How much weight do you think I lost?”

The response from one boy:”Isn’t that kind of personal?”
