Therapist Cheryl Bacon will share her experience with Qi Gong, a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation, at the East Church.
We are thrilled to have Cheryl Bacon share her experience, as a full-time therapist, with the practice of Pan Gu Shen Gong.
The practice of Qi Gong is thousands of years old and has developed numerous variations. Its roots are Asian, often passed through family lineage, and can be applied as a martial art (such as Tai Chi), meditation and/or energetic healing. Pan Gu Shen Gong is the form that Cheryl has practiced for 13 years. Simple but carefully chosen movements are the basis of this moving meditation. The movements strengthen the immune system, build core energy, and calm the central nervous system. Cheryl settled on the Pan Gu Shen Gong form because it is one of the simplest in terms of movements yet one of the most powerful in its ability to heal. If practiced daily, this form has the ability to heal the body mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Cheryl has personally witnessed this form’s ability to heal, from developing an over-all sense of well-being to actual, serious medical conditions.
This event is open to the public. We invite you to join with us and learn from Cheryl’s experience in this ancient yet very modern and powerfully healing technique.
The event is on Wednesday, April 25, 7:00 PMat the Eat Church at 610 Adams Street, Milton.
