Notice: Animal Rabies Clinic

A Rabies clinic sponsored by the Milton Animal League, Kiwanis and the Board of Health will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Atherton Street Fire Station on Route 138. Dr. Morton Wolf, a Kiwanian and prominent retired veterinarian, is volunteering his time and will be the principal in administering the rabies shots.

All owners of dogs and cats are urged to take advantage of this clinic as a protective measure for both the animal and the public, particularly children.

Cats will be vaccinated from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They must be in carriers.

Dogs will be vaccinated from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and must be on leashes.

The cost for the one year Rabies vaccination is $10.00 per animal while the three year Rabies vaccination will be offered for $15.00 to those animals who qualify.

A bake sale will be held during the clinic and all proceeds will benefit the Milton Animal Shelter.
