The Friends of the Blue Hills had two special guests on hand who addressed the crowd of over 100 that attended their recent annual meeting at Fuller Village.
The meeting featured keynote speaker Commissioner Edward M. Lambert from the Department of Conservation and Recreation. Also on hand was Mary McMahon of Milton, who mesmerized over 100 participants at the Friends of the Blue Hills Annual Meeting with her memories of going to the Blue Hills as a young girl during the Great Depression.
Representative Walter Timilty attended, met with the organization’s newly elected Board, and honored several volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the Reservation.
