I have loved exploring the outdoors since I was a child. A few years ago, I began exploring the Blue Hills with my children. We have developed a family tradition of exploring a new trail each Columbus Day in honor of his discovery.
This year, when I took my children (8 and 6) to the yellow dot trail by the Chickatawbut Lookout, they showed me the way to a very cool rock to climb and explore called. Nathan and Claudia had learned about this rock which they called “Lemon Squeeze” while they were at Camp Chickatawbut this summer.
I was happy to finally see what the object of many stories from camp. We had a great time and they really enjoyed showing me the way for a change. – Adina O’Neil, Milton
