Every year Celebrate Milton! honors individuals who make a substantial contribution to the fabric of the community. Individuals are nominated and submitted to the Celebrate Milton team by residents of the community. This year the Community Builder award went to Tucker School parent Wendy Blutt. Also receiving lifetime awards were Rev Richard Welles and Milton Times publisher Pat Desmond. Rev Welles was the pastor of the Church of Our Savior and a one time driving force behind Celebrate Milton!. Ms. Desmond has been the publisher of Milton’s paper of record since its founding.
