Race and Place: Film & Dialogue Series

You are invited to participate in  a 4-part dialogue series using the PBS documentary, RACE – the Power of an Illusion.

Join other Milton residents and community leaders in this engaging, thought-provoking film series and discussion. In the first three sessions, participants will view an hour each night of the PBS documentary and then explore its themes with the guidance of experienced facilitators. The third session agenda is as follows:

6:00-6:15 PM – On table: sign-up sheet / handouts

6:10-6:15 PM – Welcome / Opening Remarks: Andrew Russell, Milton Resident, Rev. Parisa Parsa, First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church

6:15-6:30 PM – Introductions (15 seconds each) – 1. Name, 2. Why are you participating in the dialogue?  3. How long have you lived in Milton?

6:30-6:40 PM – Role of Participant \ Community Guidelines \ Questions, Rev. Parisa Parsa

6:40-7:40 PM  – Video Segment: The House We Live In, Rev. Parisa Parsa – Overview of Segment

7:40 – 8:25 PM – Reactions and Discussions

8:25-8:30 PM – Introduction of Next Session
