Disaster Assistance – Extra Yard Waste Collection – Tue 09/06/11 – Sat 09/10/11

In the wake of Hurricane Irene, the Milton DPW will be providing an extra week of yardwaste collection beginning Tuesday, September 6 and ending Saturday, September 10 (All collections will be delayed one day from your normal collection day due to Labor Day). All of the usual yardwaste rules will apply to this collection:

– No Branches more than 4 inches thick or 3 feet long
– Debris must be contained in a paper leaf bag, a barrel clearly marked “yardwaste,” or neatly bundled with biodegradable string

The Yardwaste collection for the week of 09/12/11 through 09/16/11 will still occur as scheduled.
