One World – Many Stories: summer reading for kids 3 to 12

The Milton Public Library is offering a summer reading program for children.

Register on-line beginning June 13 through the library web page http://www.miltonlibrary.org/childrens_summer.asp. Read what you want, when you want. Read alone, read with friends, be read to, or listen to an audio book. Keep track of the time you spend reading and report the number of minutes on line through your club registration page. We’re shooting for a goal town-wide of 100,000 minutes to earn a donation from the Milton Rotary to support the work of Heifer International, an organization that helps turn lives of hunger & poverty into self-reliance & hope. Last day to record your minutes is Friday August 12. Reading club members are elligible for special award drawings during the summer, and can also sign up for the Boston Bruins’ “When You Read, You Score” club and become elligible for the Bruins’ prize drawings as well!

“One World – Many Stories” is supported by the Massachusetts Regional Library System, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and the Boston Bruins, with funding from the Institute of Museums and Library Services, an independent federal agency, and by your local library and the Friends of the Milton Public Library.
