Little was settled in Friday’s first round of the 47th Hornblower Memorial Tournament at Plymouth Country Club except this:

This season’s champion most likely will not be decided until Saturday’s final few holes.

The reason is that five players are tied atop the leaderboard at 1-under-par 68, including Kingston’s Herbie Aikens and Plymouth CC’s Mike Willock, and 20 players are within four shots of them, including Milton’s Patrick O’Leary, who fired a 69. (Read the full story here.)
