MHS Bulletin for 04.02.09

  • Attention seniors – many of you have not completed the required hours of community service needed to graduate. Please visit the community service office after school today to update your hours. Bring any forms that are outstanding. Hours MUST be completed in order to graduate.
  • Attention Milton High School!!! Monday, April 6th, will be this year’s first Red Sox Hat Day. Pay one dollar to wear your favorite hat all day. Stamps will be distributed before first period near the front office, the science and math wing, and near the field house.
  • Seniors: We have posted copies of the Boston Globe Scholar Athlete Scholarship (due 5/1)
  • Seniors, please remember to bring in copies of all your College Decision Letters to the Guidance Office as soon as possible.
  • The Milton Library opening is April 4th and 5th. MANY volunteers are needed. Please sign up at jke27@msn.com. Volunteer with your friends – be sure to sign up for specific hours as they have many shifts to cover. Anyone with a hobby or talent is welcome to perform. This is a great opportunity for seniors who need hours.
  • Invisible Children’s Club will be hosting a rock band tournament today. Admission $4 at the door (213). Food and drinks available.
  • Attention all Best Buddies members: If you are interested in ordering a Best Buddies t-shirt, please give your name, shirt size, and $15 to Mrs. Coughlin (room 233) by this Friday. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Coughlin (233), Mrs. Sullivan (214), or Sophia Thompson.
  • Outdoors Club will meet on Monday in room 211. New members welcome!
  • Mandatory SADD meeting on Monday in Room 305.
  • Attention all those interested in Spring Dance Team: auditions will be held on Monday, April 6 after school in Mrs. Damiani’s room 245. Come ready to dance! See Mrs. Damiani with any questions.
  • Are you ready to debate? The Debate Club will be debating “Chris Brown vs. Rihanna – Who’s to blame? On Wednesday, April 8 at 2:30. Get ready or come to watch and see how points are proven. Go to Felicia Iyamu or Mr. Fitzgerald with any questions.
  • All Spain travelers need to get in their checks for $97.50 by April 9, 2009!
  • Attention all Seniors: End high school with a bang! Show off your secret (or not-so-secret talent) on May 3rd in our Senior Class Talent Show! Don’t be shy! Talk to Brittany O’Rourke, Kate Shea, or Kiri Cormack for more details. Sign-up sheet will be outside Ms. Yifru’s room for your act review on April 6th. Support your class with your talents and participation. Senior Year… No Regrets. Hope to see you there!
