- Seniors: We have posted the last two Scholarships: The Boosters Scholarships for varsity athletes (deadline: May 16) and the Milton Garden Club ($1,000) Scholarship (deadline: May 16). Pick up applications in guidance.
- Students taking Advanced Placement exams are reminded that they must bring a #2 pencil and a ballpoint pen on the day of their test. Cell phones are NOT allowed in the testing room. Students who arrive late will NOT be allowed to sit for the exam. NO EXCEPTIONS. All students will report to the Library for testing except for the following: Music Theory: Superintendent’s conference room (206). Students taking AP Exams are expected to attend school the full day.
- If you are attending the Junior Prom on Friday, you must be in school the entire day.
- Juniors who purchased Prom tickets may pick up tickets in Ms. Croce’s room before school, after school, or during activity period Wednesday or Thursday. You must sign a contract when you pick up tickets.
- Attention Seniors: Your caps and gowns are here! You will receive them at the senior breakfast but it’s important to pay for them as soon as possible. The price is $20 for the next 2 weeks. Please pay Ms. McDonough in Room 118 as soon as you can before the price goes up. Cash or check. Make checks payable to MHS.
- Senior Prom tickets are on sale before and after school in Ms. Diegoli’s room (116). The last day to buy tickets will be Friday, May 16th. Tickets are $50 per person.
- 3C’s Club will go to Six Flags New England on Saturday, June 14. Interested students should come to an informational meeting Friday tomorrow at 2:30 in Mr. Costa’s room (230).
- Attention Sophomores: You will be taking the Math MCAS exam on May 21-22. Want extra help? Go to room 127 after school next Monday and Tuesday to prepare for the big test. Remember, passing the test is a graduation requirement.
- Extra books??? The National Honor Society will be holding a Book Drive through Friday. There will be a bin in the front office to drop off any new or used books. Donations will go to the children and mothers of St. Mary’s homeless shelter and their education center in Dorchester. Both children’s and adult books would be appreciated.
- The Irish American Club will have an important meeting after school today in Room 215. Please bring your community service forms to be signed.
- Attention All students taking or who have taken Driver’s Ed: If your parents still need to attend the Parent Night for Driver’s Ed, there will be parent classes Tuesday, May 13th, at 7:00pm, Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00pm, Thursday, May 15th, at 7:00pm, Friday, May 16th, at 7:00pm, and Monday, May 18th at 7:00pm. Please sign up ONE parent with either Mr. Damiani or Mr. Shaw for one of those nights.
- Seniors: If you have Book Money Obligations, or if you still owe the $100 Activity Fee, or if you owe anything to the Food Service Program, please see Mrs. Kelly in the main office with your checks as soon as possible. Checks must be made out SEPARATELY. Seniors who owe money for books from Grade 9 through this year, must return the books or pay for them. No senior will be signed out if they have outstanding financial obligations. Senior Sign-out Sheets will be distributed on Monday.
- Seniors who owe Library books or replacement costs must meet obligations by Friday, May 23 at 7:50 am. Students who have no library obligations will receive signatures in advance. Students can borrow or return books from 7:35-7:50 am.
- Community Service: Any students who are interested in helping out with childcare tonight from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, please call Mrs. Duro, Tucker PTO – 696-4291. Also, please consider signing up to help out at Special Olympics on May 18, or at the N.E. Sinai Hospital Summer Program. Details in guidance.
